Thousands of U.S.doctors, including two former U.S. Surgeon Generals, support a proposed single payer, not-for-profit health care system. Martin Donohoe, M.D. of Portland, Oregon supports H.R. 676, the National Health Care Insurance Act. Dr. Donohoe spoke extensively about the merits of a universal health care system when interviewed by The City Lights TV Show, a public affairs program which recently aired on Comcast Cable.
